The MBA management story: the boatman and mice

The MBA management story: a ship sailing on the sea, hidden in the cabin. Rats steal to eat the food of the boatman, bite the boatman's clothes. The boatman hate mouse, want to catch it, throw it to the sea. Rat rat, it use housekeeping skills, in the bottom hole, it will hide in the hole, and hid the boatman's food also moved to the inside of the hole. Predictable results. The rat didn't think of it in the bottom hole, not only destroy the ship, and destroyed himself. No matter in any time, don't think to harm others, is hurt others hurt yourself.

Management thoughts: in an enterprise, the best way to solve the problem from the enterprise internal to solve the problem, rather than ideas to destroy their opponent, trying to destroy the other enterprises to make yourself a way to survive is the most stupid tricks. The zero-sum game theory are verified. Zero-sum game refers to a game, the player has to lose a win, one party is just what the other party winning, game overall is always zero. Zero-sum game theory was widely attention, mainly because people find in all aspects of the society can find similar to "zero-sum game", the winner of the glorious often hidden behind the losers poignant and bitter.

But in the 20th century humanity has experienced two world wars, the rapid growth of economy, science and technology progress, globalization, and the increasingly serious environmental pollution, "zero-sum game" concept is gradually replaced by the "win-win" concept. People begin to realize "self-interest" doesn't have to be built on the basis of "unhelpful". Through effective cooperation, happy ending is possible. But from a "zero-sum game" to the "win-win", require the parties should have the spirit of sincere cooperation and courage, don't get smart in the cooperation, don't want to take advantage, to abide by the rules of the game, or "win-win" situation is not possible, or the only loser.
